Recipe for Preserving
Children
(This recipe was given to me many years ago by a good friend,
Anne Pearl) Ingredients
- 1 grassy field
- Half a dozen children (or more)
- Several dogs (puppies if they are available)
- 1 brook
- Pebbles
Method
- Pour the children into the field.
- Add the dogs (and puppies if you have them).
- Pour brook over pebbles until the pebbles are slightly frothy.
- When the children are golden brown, cool them in a warm bath.
- Dry the children.
- Serve them with freshly baked cakes from 2 oven or 4 oven Aga.
