Shortbread
(20 cm/8" round tin) Ingredients
- 150g/6 ozs. butter, cubed
- 75g/3 ozs. caster sugar
- 175g/7 ozs. plain flour
- 50g/2 ozs. cornflour
Method
- Put the flour, cornflour and caster sugar into the food processor, and mix
briefly.
- Drop in the cubed butter, and process until the mixture forms a dough
around the spindle of the processor bowl.
- Roll out mixture and press into shallow sponge sandwich tin.

Baking
AGA - 2 OVEN: In pre-heated cake baker on oven floor of
ROASTING OVEN for approx. 40-45 minutes.
AGA - 4 OVEN: On the lowest set of runners, resting on oven
floor of BAKING OVEN for approx. 35-40 mins.
